I have lived in the Flathead Valley for over forty years and grew up on a small ranch where we raised cattle. While growing up, I worked summers to finance my hunting and fishing habits. Currently, my wife Sandi and I live on a small farm southeast of Kalispell just north of Flathead Lake near the Flathead River. Our family raises German Wirehaired Pointers, English Pointers, game birds, turf sod, small grains and hay. I love rural Montana and the hunting, fishing, and agricultural acitivities that are possible here.
In addition to being a broker/owner of Western Brokers,LLP, I have an appraisal company called David J. Heine and Associates. We specialize in appraising conservation easements, farms, ranches, and other properties that have deed restrictions, access issues, or other encumbrances. Our real estate and appraisal business covers west central Montana, including the Golden Triangle, the Rocky Mountain Front, the Blackfeet Reservation in Glacier County, the Tobacco Valley, Hot Springs, the Mission Valley, and all areas in between.
Over the years I have developed a strong relationship with appraisers, lenders, and brokers in major towns across Montana. If I need to find out more information about a property I can find an appraiser or lender who has the answers that we need to make a good decision. Throughout my twenty plus years of experience in this business, I have worked hard to develop and build strong relationships with reputable brokers in all the communities from Glasgow to Lewistown, from the highline in central Montana west to the Idaho border.
If you are looking for dream getaway properties, I would love the opportunity to help you find those properties. We will look for a working ranch, a conservation property, a remote timber property near Glacier National Park, the Continental Divide or the Rocky Mountain front or anywhere else in western Montana, or that unique property of your description. Let me put my years of experience, my education, and my network of valuable people (Farm Credit Service employees, the USDA employees, private brokers and MSU extension economist) to work for you.
