Hello and welcome to Western Brokers, LLP. My name is Carson Smith. I specialize in quality hunting and fishing properties or as is known in this business recreational properties. I have over thirty-five years experience in the outdoor world on a professional level as a guide, consultant, booking agent, and also as an outfitter. I have traveled throughout North America, Canada, New Zealand, and Africa helping clients realize their outdoor experiences and dreams. While I have a strong love for fly fishing the Montana rivers, the Elk River in British Columbia and many other pristine Trout streams, my first love is hunting giant Whitetail deer.
I have hunted the fabled Milk River Valley in Montana, and run deer hunting camps in the big bush country of Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Canada. I worked for many years with Dick Idol in the Texas Whitetail camps. We also ran mule deer, antelope, and elk camps in New Mexico.
As you know, Pike County Illinois is famous for its giant Whitetails. I have personally hunted this area and guided and run a booking service for many years in Pike County. If you watch the Outdoor Channel or have read the North American Whitetail Magazine, you'll notice that Kansas is becoming more and more famous for its giant Whitetails. I have been consulting with clients who are actively involved in purchasing and setting up hunting properties in that state.
In addition to the strong love of Whitetail deer, I enjoy hunting pheasants and other upland game birds. I love to fish for largemouth and smallmouth bass both in the Flathead River System, the various Flathead Valley lakes, and also the lower Flathead River and the Noxon Rapids Reservoir.
